A few days ago I was in my room getting ready for the day. BigBoy was in the hall, hanging out on the stairs doing who knows what.
"Mom. I have you, Daddy and Sis for my family. I'm the luckiest boy in the world!"
Wait, what??
"I'm just so lucky."
Later that night I fell asleep with Sass. She's been sick all week and wanted to cuddle. She then wrapped her arms around me, grabbed my thumb with her entire hand and she fell asleep like that. I soaked it all in.
My munchkins catch me off guard sometimes. and I love it. These kids. Dear God, they drive me crazy. but how sweet it is when they openly dish out their pure love. These beautiful little moments of bliss that pass between the hustle and bustle of day-to-day. THIS makes it all worth it.
